Westminster Abbey

The narrator's voice was perfect for this tour - knowledgeable but never dry. What really got me was the story about Elizabeth I's secret visits to the abbey, especially when you're standing right where she would have walked. The directions were spot-on too, which helped since I was navigating the crowds. By the end, I understood why this place has been the backdrop for so much British drama over the centuries.

Brilliant storytelling throughout, though I wished there was a bit more about the architecture itself. The section about the Coronation Chair was fascinating - never knew about the Stone of Destiny connection. Walking through Poets' Corner while hearing those stories made the whole experience come alive.

Used this during my London trip and it completely changed how I saw the abbey. The pacing was just right - never felt rushed but kept moving at a good clip. Loved how the tour connected the medieval origins to modern royal events.

Really well researched content and the audio quality was excellent. The part about the hidden Tudor tombs was gripping - you can almost feel the weight of history when you're standing there listening.

Free and better than most paid tours I've done. The narrator knew exactly when to pause for dramatic effect.
