1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Trevlo mobile application or website at trevlo.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Trevlo provides AI-generated audio tour guides for attractions and cities around the world. Users can browse, purchase, and listen to narrated tours through the mobile application. Tours are available for one-time purchase and are accessible indefinitely after purchase.

3. User Accounts

You may browse tours without an account. To purchase tours, save to your wishlist, or leave reviews, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Purchases and Payments

• Tour prices are displayed in your local currency where available, with USD as the default
• All purchases are final. Due to the digital nature of the content, refunds are not provided except where required by applicable law
• Free tours are available without payment and provide the same listening experience as paid tours
• Bundle purchases provide a discount on multiple tours in the same city. The discount is applied at the time of purchase
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store payment card details

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All tour content, including audio narration, transcripts, images, and related materials, is owned by Trevlo or its licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access purchased tours for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly perform tour content
• Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• Share your account credentials or transfer purchased tours to others

6. AI-Generated Content

Tour content is generated using artificial intelligence and reviewed for accuracy. While we strive for factual accuracy, tour narrations are intended for entertainment and general informational purposes. They should not be relied upon as a sole source of historical, cultural, or navigational information. Trevlo is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

7. User Reviews

By submitting a review, you grant Trevlo a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your review content. Reviews must be honest and based on your genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or violate these terms.

8. Safety and Location Services

Walking tours include navigation directions. Always be aware of your surroundings, obey traffic signals, and exercise caution when following tour directions. Trevlo is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs while following tour routes. Use of location services is optional and can be disabled at any time.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion will remove your personal data, reviews, and wishlist. Purchase records are retained for legal purposes. Previously downloaded tour audio will remain on your device until you uninstall the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trevlo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Trevlo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
