Absolutely brilliant way to experience the Tate Modern! The narration completely changed how I saw pieces I'd walked past dozens of times before. The section about Picasso's Guernica and its connection to the Spanish Civil War gave me chills - I had no idea about the political context behind his rage. The timing worked perfectly too, letting you really absorb each piece without feeling rushed. Worth every penny for the depth it adds to your visit.

Good content overall, especially the stories about how London's art scene exploded in the 90s. I loved learning about the building's history as a power station and how they transformed the Turbine Hall. However, the audio quality seemed inconsistent - some parts were crystal clear while others had this slight echo that was distracting. Also wish it covered more of the permanent collection on Level 5. The 28 minutes felt a bit short for what you pay.

What a fantastic way to understand contemporary art! As someone who usually sticks to Renaissance pieces, this tour opened my eyes to works I normally would have dismissed. The part where you stand in the Turbine Hall and learn about how each massive installation was chosen - incredible. The narrator's voice was engaging and the stories felt fresh, not like the usual dry museum commentary. Only complaint is that it doesn't sync perfectly with the current exhibitions, so a couple references didn't match what's on display right now.
