Even as a French person, I learned so much! The story about how the Romans first settled on Île de la Cité gave me chills. I never knew about the hidden entrance to Sainte-Chapelle that the narrator mentions - went back the next day to find it. The way they explain why Notre-Dame was built exactly where it stands makes you see the whole island differently. Perfect length too, didn't feel rushed at all.

Really well researched tour. The part where you stop at Pont Neuf and learn it's actually the oldest bridge despite its name made me smile. Great storytelling about medieval Paris and how the island became the center of French power. Audio quality was crystal clear through my headphones. Only wish there were a few more photo opportunities marked along the route, but the content more than makes up for it.

Used this during my weekend in Paris and it completely changed how I see the Seine. The narrator has this wonderful way of painting pictures with words - when you're standing by the river looking up at Notre-Dame's flying buttresses, and they explain how each stone tells a story of survival through wars and revolutions... genuinely moving. The 24 minutes flew by. Started it at Place Saint-Michel as suggested and the timing was perfect.

Good historical content and the route is well planned. I particularly enjoyed learning about Sainte-Chapelle's incredible stained glass and why it was built as a royal chapel. The narrator's voice is pleasant and easy to follow. However, I felt like it could have included more about the daily life of medieval Parisians rather than focusing so heavily on kings and politics. Also, some of the stopping points weren't clearly marked on the map which left me guessing a few times.

What a lovely way to spend a morning in Paris! The tour starts in the Latin Quarter and by the time you reach the heart of Île de la Cité, you really understand why this little island became so important. The story about Philippe Auguste and how he fortified the city was fascinating. My favorite moment was standing in front of Notre-Dame while hearing about how it took nearly 200 years to build. Made me appreciate the patience of medieval craftsmen.
