Prague Castle

What an incredible way to experience Prague Castle! I loved how the tour connected the architecture to the political history - especially the story about how Emperor Rudolf II used the Spanish Hall to intimidate foreign diplomats. The narration when you're standing in St. Vitus Cathedral looking up at those soaring Gothic arches gave me actual chills. For a free tour, this exceeded all my expectations. The timing was perfect too, 30 minutes was just right before my feet started hurting.

Really enjoyed this audio tour! The part about the defenestration of Prague was fascinating - I never knew that throwing people out of windows was such a Czech political tradition. The GPS worked flawlessly and guided me through all three courtyards seamlessly. My favorite moment was learning about the hidden door in the Old Royal Palace that the kings used to escape during sieges. The audio quality was crystal clear even with Prague's usual tourist crowds around.

Trevlo completely transformed my visit to Prague Castle. I've been to many castles across Europe, but this tour made me understand how the Bohemian kings used architecture as propaganda. The segment about Charles IV and how he designed the cathedral to rival Paris was brilliant. When the narrator told me to look up at the dome and explained the symbolism of each saint, I finally got why this place was so important. Downloaded three more tours immediately after finishing this one.

Good tour overall with some really interesting historical details. The story about Wenceslas and how he became a saint was captivating, and I appreciated learning about the communist era changes to the castle. However, I wish there was more information about the current Czech president's use of the castle. Also, the tour could have included more about the gardens - we walked right past them but barely got any commentary. Still worth doing since it's free, just felt like it could have been more comprehensive.

Fantastic storytelling! I was skeptical about audio tours but this changed my mind completely. The way they explained how each ruler added their own architectural stamp to show their power was fascinating. Standing in the Vladislav Hall and learning about the jousting tournaments that happened right where I was standing made history come alive. The narrator's voice was engaging and never boring. Only wish it was a bit longer - I could have listened for another 15 minutes easily.
