Notre-Dame Cathedral

The narrator's voice was perfect for this tour - calm but engaging, especially during the section about the 2019 fire. Walking around the back of the cathedral while hearing about the medieval stonemasons made me notice details I would have completely missed. The story about how they saved the crown of thorns was absolutely gripping. Even though you can't go inside right now, this tour made the whole experience feel complete.

Really well done audio tour that takes you through the side streets and gives you perfect viewing angles of the cathedral. The pacing was spot-on and the historical context about the French Revolution added so much depth to what I was seeing.

Used this while visiting Paris last month and it completely changed how I experienced Notre-Dame. The section where you stand on the Pont au Double and look back at the flying buttresses was magical - the narrator explained how they were actually added later to prevent the walls from collapsing outward. Never knew that gargoyles had such practical purposes beyond looking intimidating. The walking directions were clear and took me to spots I never would have found on my own.

Solid tour that brings the cathedral's 800-year history to life. The storytelling around the revolution period was particularly compelling - hearing about how it almost got demolished while standing right there gave me chills.

The 34 minutes flew by and I learned so much about Gothic architecture. Worth every euro.
