The narrator's voice was perfect for this experience - warm but knowledgeable, like having a friend who happens to be an art historian. What really got me was the story about Manet's Olympia and how visitors tried to attack it with umbrellas when it first went on display. Standing in front of that painting while hearing about the scandal it caused made me see it completely differently. The tour timing worked beautifully too, never felt rushed moving between the different galleries.

Really well done audio guide that brought the museum to life in ways I wasn't expecting. The section about the building's history as a train station was fascinating, and I loved how they had you pause at specific viewpoints to really take in the architecture. Only wish it covered a few more of the lesser-known pieces on the upper floors.

Even as someone who's been to d'Orsay many times, this tour showed me details I'd never noticed before. The part where you stop in the central nave and look up at the glass ceiling while learning about the original Gare d'Orsay gave me goosebumps. Brilliant storytelling that connects the art to the social drama of 19th century Paris.

Excellent pacing and the audio quality was crystal clear even in the busier galleries. The stories behind each painting were captivating without being too academic.
