This tour completely changed how I see the Louvre. I've been there twice before but never understood why certain pieces were placed where they are. The story about how Napoleon used art as political propaganda was fascinating - especially when you're standing right in front of those massive paintings he commissioned. The narrator's voice was perfect, not too dramatic but engaging enough to keep my 14-year-old interested too. Worth every euro.

Really enjoyed this. The section about the Venus de Milo was brilliant - I had no idea about the whole arms controversy and how it connects to French national identity. The tour flows well and doesn't feel rushed like some of the group tours I've done. My only complaint is that it could have included more about the building's history as a palace. The part where you look up at the painted ceilings was gorgeous but felt a bit brief.

Absolutely loved this experience! I'm an art teacher and was worried it might be too basic, but the political and cultural context really added depth. The story about the hidden door behind the Mona Lisa had me looking around like a detective. My husband, who usually zones out in museums, was actually asking questions afterward. The 28 minutes flew by - we ended up staying for another hour just exploring more.

Good tour with interesting insights about French power and how they used art to project influence globally. The narrator clearly knows their stuff and the audio quality was crisp through my AirPods. However, I felt like it focused too heavily on European art and didn't acknowledge much about the colonial origins of some pieces. Also wished there were more interactive elements or maybe a map feature to help navigate between stops. Still informative though.
