The chapter about the unknown soldier ceremony gave me chills - I had no idea about the daily flame rekindling ritual until the narrator explained its significance. Standing there while learning about the soldiers who never made it home was incredibly moving. The audio quality is crystal clear, and the pacing gave me enough time to really absorb each story while walking around the monument.

Really enjoyed the part where you walk to the center of the Champs-Élysées for the best view - never would have thought to position myself there. The narrator's voice has this perfect documentary quality that made even the traffic chaos feel romantic somehow.

Fascinating details about Napoleon's victories carved into the pillars that I completely missed on my first visit. The story about how Haussmann designed the twelve avenues to converge here was brilliant.

The walking directions were spot-on, and I loved learning about the secret passages beneath the monument. Worth every penny for the historical context - the part about the German march-through in 1940 was particularly well told. Only wish it was slightly longer given how much there is to see.

Perfect timing and the narrator made me notice architectural details I would have walked right past. Trevlo has completely changed how I experience landmarks.
