Absolutely brilliant! The narrator brought the ancient stones to life in a way our guidebook never could. I loved learning about how they actually moved those massive marble blocks up the hill - never knew about the clever ramp system they used. The timing was perfect too, we finished just as the crowds started getting heavy. My teenager even put down her phone to listen to the part about the Parthenon's optical illusions.

Really solid audio tour that made our Athens visit so much richer. The storytelling about Pericles and the golden age was captivating, and I appreciated how it explained the architectural tricks they used to make the columns look perfectly straight. The section about the explosion in 1687 was jaw-dropping - had no idea the Parthenon was nearly intact until then. Only wish it had covered more about the sculptures that are now in the British Museum.

What a fantastic way to experience the Acropolis! The app worked flawlessly and the content was incredibly engaging. I was fascinated by the explanation of how democracy actually functioned here - so different from what I learned in school. The vivid descriptions helped me imagine the Panathenaic procession climbing this same path 2,500 years ago. The fact that it's free makes it even better. Used it with my family and we all learned something new.

Good content overall and the historical context was interesting, especially the part about how the Acropolis transformed from a fortress to a religious center. However, I found the audio quality a bit inconsistent - some sections were crystal clear while others seemed muffled. Also wished there were more details about the Erechtheion and its famous porch with the caryatids. The tour felt a bit rushed through that area.

Excellent storytelling that really captured the magnitude of what happened on this hill. The narrator did a wonderful job explaining how the Parthenon was designed as both a temple and a treasury. I was particularly struck by the description of the massive gold and ivory statue of Athena that once stood inside. The tour flowed well with the natural walking pace and the GPS worked perfectly. Would have loved more information about the restoration work currently happening.
